Who we are
Tellup was founded in 1972 when the founding publisher published a children’s book about a fox finding love and a family. In the 50 years since then we have grown tremendously and have published horror cult classics, some of the biggest names in fantasy and science fiction, and a wealth of funny, raw, and moving everyday stories for children and young adults.
Recently the company has become more global, and we are excited to be sharing our talented authors and illustrators with the rest of the world.
We’re not just selling rights — we’re building bridges between stories and new readers.
Through strategic rights partnerships, we offer international publishers the opportunity to bring standout children’s and YA titles to their local markets.
Our publishing model is designed for flexibility: you license the physical rights for print and distribution, while we retain the digital rights for e-books and audiobooks in your language.
This approach allows both parties to focus on their strengths, while expanding access to engaging stories that deserve a global audience.

We welcome collaborations with both large and independent publishers who value quality content, fair terms, and long-term partnerships.
